Recently Defined Fitness, New Mexico’s largest health club, developed an aggressive expansion program that included redefining the image of the club. Since their last facility was built, the needs of their users had changed and Mullen Heller was charged with designing a prototype facility that responded to these new needs, including more children’s activities and specialized studio spaces. In addition, Mullen Heller worked closely with the owner to develop a “corporate identity” for the exterior of the building that was both economical and represented the image of a young, hip health club.
